Ticket to Ride - Train Game App Reviews

I was addicted to Ticket to ride before they updated the ui and the bots. The Dec. 14 update is at least usable, but the version before they started making changes was smoother, simpler, and more fun. I dont think Im going to play anymore...and to think I was excited at the prospect of more maps....:-(. No more.

The new update is extremely disappointing; wifi games rarely work, freezing is common, and overall reliability is a significant downgrade over the previous version. Additionally, I can no longer play games over bluetooth (big disappointment for my last long plane ride with my partner) and we can no longer add a computer opponent on wifi games. Please fix these issues ASAP!

I used to love playing local multiplayer with friends and family, including in no/poor WiFi areas like hotels. In the latest version Bluetooth no longer appears to be supported, meaning local play needs a strong unrestricted WiFi connection. After a half hour of frustration I just gave up trying to play in my hotel. Now I wish I never accepted the update!

Fairly simple to learn for someone who had never played it before. Bought it last night and have already played through more than a dozen games. Love the Asia maps, hope to see more maps soon!

Problems still not solved with update. The app is barely able to function. Which is a shame because I purchased on more than one device. The game itself was highly enjoyable before they ruined it. Now I cant get through a game without it crashing, freezing, ect. Its not my internet, as I have the best service money can buy and I am having no such issues with other apps.

Latest update removed bots from multiplayer games. Not playable without! I just erased the App and hope that I kept an old previous version in my backups...

Why fix something that is not broken? The last version was way better than this one. This is a major step back. Practically theres timer now that doesnt make sense and it freezes the game.

Constant crashes and bugs on the new version. Absolutely terrible. Dont buy.

Constantly crashes on my iPhone 6. With the new version still have a lot of trouble joint a new online game.

Ever since the last upgrade before 2.0.11, this game is rarely fun anymore. I regularly quit before completing, which I never used to do. Caveat Emptor Matthew

Since the last big update, its impossible to play via bluetooth. Sad.

TRR Pocket and TTR Europe used to be my favorite iPhone games. The massive rewrite has turned the game into a piece of junk. Local Bluetooth games are no longer an option. WiFi local games are so laggy theyre unplayable. The interface is ugly and nowhere near as nice to play. Its gone from an easy five star game that I recommended to everyone to unplayable junk. So disappointing.

Ever since they "upgraded" this game it is very difficult to play... Constantly freezing... Terrible upgrade ... Should have left it the way it was!

Computer opponent had been dumbed down and now plays like a moron. Left handed game play option is a broken ghost button. Bluetooth game play option disappeared- no longer a family game on trips. Worst - lovely classic "old tyme" look and feel to board and graphics has been replaced with dumbed down simplified graphics and board design. Its a game about train travel for crying out loud, the retro art design was part of the romance. Someone who really,really does not understand the audience and what made this game a hit is now managing this product, which is now ruined. Such a shame, I doubt Ill play ever again.

Please bring back Bluetooth for local games! We used to play on vacation, but dont have wifi, so now we no longer can. Otherwise I would have rated this 5 stars.

I updated the app and now it crashes when clicked. Any suggestions? Im running IOS5.1 on an older iPad and the app ran fine until the latest update. Thanks

Updates that began 6 months ago have ruined the game. Glitchy and painfully slow.
